It's finally happened my first sale :D
It was a sale for urabukkake.com and the ratio was 1:671

It certainly feels great when you see your first ever sale, now I'm going to work to keep them coming in. But now I know it can work which makes things a whole lot better.

Penis Bot (http://penisbot.com) signed up as an affiliate and made a sale on the 2nd day. The sale was made @ Jerk and Tease (http://jerkandtease.com/) ( Handjob niche )

I sold all the sites a while back. The new owner hasnt done anything. They stopped updating over 2 years ago.

It was a great ride building these sites though :)

I totally don't remember my first sale anymore. But I do remember my first check came from CCBill and was for $28 and some change.

I don't remember my first sale, but I remember my first cheque. Wasn't for much but it sure feels good when you're 17. Max Cash, probably Karas Adult Playground or Asian Pleasures or something, 1998 I think, galleries on free hosting submitted to link lists like richards realm and green guy.

I tried getting started in this business back in 1998 too. I remember when sponsor would have the pay per click option. I got enough clicks to earn a check, but they never sent me one because they said I didn't generate any sales, so I got discourage and gave up.

10 years later I jumped back into the game and I seem to be doing alright.

holy shit man, so you got in around 98, didnt like it, then disappeared for 10 years, then popped back into the scene?

how, why? what happend? what did you do for the last years for work? mainstream websites? or regular real life job?

I was 18 back in 1998. I barely had any html skills and I pretty much just did email spamming to get clicks to the sponsor I was using, needless to say it wasn't very productive, and back then I didn't have the time or motivation to properly make sites and build traffic. I literally email spammed for a month and got enough clicks to earn a check, but like I said, I never got paid because none of my clicks generated a sale. So I was just like "fuck this" and gave up.

I installed carpet for 10yrs working with my dad, but as the economy got worse I made less and less each month, so 3 years ago I gave the porn industry another shot. I'm also a photographer so I started shooting content for Suicide Girls, Burning Angels, and all the other Alt/Goth knock off sites. Talking to the people who ran those sites, I learned how to build freesites, and galleries, then I built a blog and made a couple sales. The whole alt/porn scene isn't to big and sales were few and far between, so I decided to try a TGP with Asian content. It was a mess, and i skimmed most of my traffic away, but it still made more sales then the alt porn blog did. So I added a subdomain to my tgp and made an Asian blog. Then I started getting good traffic from search engines and sales picked up. So I just stuck with the Asian content and kept making new blogs and here I am today.

I still have a lot to learn and all my sites still have room for improvement and growth, but overall I'm making around $1,000 a month sitting on my ass, and that sure beats making $1,000 a month busting my ass installing carpet.
