Honestly? More like Chinese or Korean. But maybe some Japanese. The foreign yaks are heavy there though...they are the most violent. Just find the red light district and look friendly and horny.:rolleyes:

If I were single, I would google, gaijin bars, pubs, shibuya, roppongi. Tokyo is in many ways, a London style city for Japan. Know what the NME is? The music paper? They do. Google that papers content and Tokyo. See where it takes you.

Unless you become fluent in Japanese, learn the culture, you wont have access to most of the female population.

My entry into Japan was the music scene first (ethno-electronica). I have some decent connections there. Have had CDs released in Japan. Make guy friends first in some biz outside porn. If you can. If you can get past them, if they greenlight you to their friends, which will take time, then you can maybe get in. If you do "get in" it will be so worth it. Peoples guards will be down.

You have to realize Japan is making a swing back to conservative position, especially among the youth.

Dating sites...yeah good luck.

Like right now, there were some huge winter festivals this past weekend. Fireworks, crazy stuff going on. I've been before. Hella fun.

Learn a few words, take some guides - like insight guide... Approach "groups" of people, or girls. They feel safer in groups. Behave like Leonard from The Big Bang Theory, ask a question in bad Japanese and look sad, worried and hopeful. People like to help those types.

As for not foreigner friendly. Remember their first thought upon meeting you is, "When are you leaving?" lol. Americans have been and are, quite the burden for them.
